ESPN Says Mets' Bench A Strength!

ESPN's Sean McAdam lists the Mets as having one of the 5 best benches in baseball (see article at: ESPN.com - MLB - McAdam: The top five benches), along with the Cubs, Rangers, Dodgers & Blue Jays. He lists our bench as Julio Franco, Ramon Castro, Victor Diaz, Chris Woodward & Endy Chavez. I guess he knows something that we don't, as neither Jose Valentin, Jeff Keppinger or Tike Redman are listed as candidates. I think it's a bit premature to focus on benches when they haven't been finalized yet, but it's nice to know that at this point in time, someone else likes our bench strength.
