Mets Endy Game With Valentin To The Fans...

In another long one, the Mets pulled a pitcher's duel out in the bottom of the 13th with a win courtesy of 2 of Omar's lesser-regarded signings in the offseason, Jose Valentin & Endy Chavez! Endy ended the game (sorry- couldn't help ourselves) by knocking in Valentin for the only run of the (long) game! It's nights like this that I am glad I live on the West Coast and Jonathan's a night owl!! On the down-side, that makes 5 no-decisions or losses (1) for Pedro this month....I will be at his next outing, in Dodgers Stadium, on Tuesday, wearing my Pedro jersey, so let's hope for a better outcome for our ace...in the meantime, in the immortal words of Tug McGraw,
