Green doesn't mind rumors

David Lennon at Newsday writes about Shawn Green and the swirling rumors with the Mets:

Shawn Green still has not been approached by the Diamondbacks about waiving his no-trade clause, but he seems to be warming to the idea. When asked last night about going to the Mets, a team that could advance deep into the playoffs, Green did not dismiss the possibility.

"Obviously that's a big perk," Green told reporters at Coors Field. "The most important thing to me is my family so I'd have to discuss it with them."
