Mets and the media

J.P. Pelzman at North Jersey writes about the Mets and the media after the rain out:

Several Mets were amused that reporters were in the clubhouse talking to players after Sunday's postponement was announced. While passing Paul Lo Duca's locker, Carlos Delgado said to Lo Duca, "You mean you're still talking about the game that didn't happen?"

Pitcher Steve Trachsel noted the media crush too, and was informed that newspapers still have space to fill. He had a suggestion. "The key word is advertising," Trachsel said, adding, "I've got a car to sell."
