Maine to the bullpen

The Mets will move John Maine to the bullpen for the final week of the season so that he can get familiar with the role before the playoffs."Right now he's starting Sunday," manager Willie Randolph said.

"After that we'll see where we are. There might come a point in time the last three or four or five days or whatever - his last start - I might put him in the bullpen. It's a possibility." Maine's role in the bullpen will be as a middle reliever and he won't have any fantasy value once he is removed from the rotation.
