Castro's surgery

According to official game notes for this evening's game available on MLB.com, Ramon Castro underwent surgery today to repair a torn medial meniscus in his left knee. The surgery was performed at the Hospital for Special Surgery in Manhattan. Monday, Castro was in Brooklyn on a rehab assignment for a sore left ribcage and injured the knee while warming up prior to the Cyclones' game with the Staten Island Yankees. An MRI revealed that Castro has a Grade 1 strain of the MCL ligament and a torn medial meniscus...
