Soriano?

On August 15th the Nationals placed Alfonso Soriano on waivers Tuesday, potentially clearing the way for him to be included in a trade.

It is speculated that Soriano will not be switching uniforms before the off season. He won't clear waivers, and it's unlikely the Nationals will be able to work out a deal for him using only prospects not yet on a 40-man roster. But since Jose Valentin left the game today with a pulled hamstring, could the Mets possibly be contemplating a trade with the Nationals to bring the hard hitting second baseman back to New York.

Start Praying.
