Perez blows audition again

Oliver Perez was pounded for seven runs and 12 hits in three-plus innings by the Rockies yesterday.

The first 11 hits were all singles. It was Garrett Atkins' two run homer in the fourth that finally knocked him out of the game. Perez was unfortunate that two infield singles got things going in the three run first, but it's not like he got any better from there. He probably won't get any additional starts with Tom Glavine now ready to rejoin the rotation.
