Step by step

At Rotoworld they write about the most recent step that Pedro Martinez took to getting back into the rotation:

Pedro Martinez, sidelined since Aug. 15 with a strained right calf, threw about 65 pitches in a bullpen session Tuesday.

"It went fine," Martinez said. "It hasn't bothered me, but I can't really tell you if it's 100 percent until I get in a game." Martinez will throw a simulated game on Saturday. The plan is for him to make three starts during the final four weeks.
